Tensions are boiling over at UNC as pro-Palestinian protesters began clashing with local police. The protesters say they want administrators to hear their demands. Turn us on right now.

On Tuesday afternoon, an already tense situation escalated after the American flag was lowered and replaced with a Palestinian flag on the main quad. Dozens of police officers entered the main quad along with UNC Interim Chancellor Lee Roberts.

A fourth officer has died after being shot in Charlotte while serving a warrant today. CMPD Police Chief Johnny Jennings says Officer Joshua Eyer died from his injuries. He was a father of a three-year-old child. I am heartbroken for the Charlotte community.
