HI everyone! I hope you're all doing well.

To all my followers and fans of my Twitch streams, I apologize for the long absence from streaming. I find that as life has gotten back to normal, it's become a major challenge for me to find the time and energy to commit to not just a stream schedule, but even to commit to the occasional broadcast has been a challenge.

We live in a very small space with no dedicated area for me to leave equipment set up, therefore that means every time i stream I need to do a full set up, testing, planning music selection, etc. etc. which takes an incredible amount of effort and time which I just increasingly don't have as much of. During Covid it made more sense since I had lots of time to do all of that!

As some of you are aware, we've also been in the process for the last year of planning for a major travelling adventure which we're about to embark on next weekend, when we board a plane to Australia and New Zealand for a month! This has also taken up a lot of my time as well.

So the long and the short of it...My Friday Night Fever sets are officially no more unfortunately I'm sorry to say. 😔

In the meantime, I've noticed that some of you are still subscribed to me on Twitch which I genuinely appreciate, however I feel bad because I haven't been able to deliver on anything for the amount I'm receiving 🥺 Twitch also does not allow me to cancel anyone's subscription (subscribers have to do that themselves), nor does it allow me to refund any subscription payments that have gone through. If anyone wants to cancel their subscription, please feel free to do so as I will most definitely understand, and in no way be offended.

Therefore, I have decided that any payouts I receive from Twitch I will donate to a charity. My most recent payout has gone to a charity close to my heart called My Grandfather's Cat, out of Nova Scotia, Canada.

My Grandfather's Cat works on providing "a second forever home" for the pets of terminally ill seniors before they move into retirement homes, or pass away.

Thank you very much for all your support over the last 3 years, I can't express how much I appreciate it.

And I hope everyone's having a great 2023 so far as well! ❤️

This week's find is BELOUIS SOME "LET IT BE WITH YOU" - 1987, Parlophone Records

Here we have funky-yet-groovy piece of 80's obscurity, with a horn section, guitars and bassline very reminiscent of Level 42's work! Belouis had a short career in the mid-80's but still managed to put out 3 albums and over a dozen singles, including this little ditty.

Hi everyone, hope you've had a great weekend! Dealing with my first bout with Covid unfortunately so haven't left the house since yesterday 😩 thankfully the symptoms haven't been too bad though.

With the summer approaching, I will be reducing my shows to a once a month frequency for the next few months. Once I have determined which Fridays to do, I will post show dates about a week & 1/2 prior to each date.

The next one will be June 10th most likely, but will confirm.

You can always depend on Philadelphia for great funky talent! This Philly duo started off as a songwriting team for legends such as Teddy Pendergrass, the O'Jays and MFSB before recording their own brand of funky disco for A&M, including this infectious groover with a bassline that never lets up. 🕺
