Please be prepared with a monologue or talent, and come camera ready 📸🎥. Ten (10) talented folks will be seen in episode 6 🎭. Think on the lines of “Detroit’s Got Talent” and this is a comedy so ridiculousness is encouraged 🤣

Born in Detroit, Michigan, Matthew Santia always knew he wanted to be a writer/ director. It was the closest thing to playing God, the precocious child often thought. But, he didn’t feel like he could ever make his dreams come true living in Detroit so he moved to Los Angeles at the age of 20 to pursue a career in film. He graduated Magna Cum Laud from the prestigious University of Southern California film school in 2009, but wasn’t finding the job opportunities he thought he would.
He moved back to Detroit in 2011 and started writing film reviews for CinemaNerdz.com. Eventually, he involved himself in the Michigan film scene and aligned himself with the right people and has seen a career renaissance of sorts. After making multiple award-winning shorts Matthew transitioned into making features. Both of his feature films (If I Can’t Have You and Chasing the Ghost) have won multiple awards and film festivals. He hopes to continue making thought provoking films that challenge genre conventions and will cause debates for years to come.

Late 2022 while driving around gathering interview footage a little idea was born that is now known as "The Agency." In 2017 Emory Reeves and Film Chic created the reality TV documentary pilot "Reach Up" following residents at Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries as they participate in a program to go from homelessness to hopefulness. Since 2020 they've worked together on Help Wanted, If I Can't Have You, and Chasing the Ghost. Now they are ready to take on a comedy series. The combination of our creative, technical, and organizational skills will surely give us something entertaining. Thank you Emory and I can't wait to see what we make!

Please meet the "Showrunners" for The Agency. Coming together in March of 2023 to outline a story that requires just as much creativity to produce. This team is taking everything they've learned from Indie Film and turning it into an aware comedy. Thank you Emory, Melinda, Matt, and Kendra Renee for all that you're doing!

KendraRenee has always had a love for writing. She began doing poetry in second grade,then on to creative writing in middle school, and then in high school wrote her first (of many) scripts. In 2017, her writing hit the stage in her hit play entitled No!!!!!! 2019 she wrote her first short film,Forgiven, while still in college. Recently, KendraRenee had her feature film debut with Twenty Somethings which is currently playing on Tubi. KendraRenee says that her favorite author is none other than Dr. Seuss, not because of the funny rhymes, but because “he can make you feel a whole lot in a little.”

Melinda Bryce is a career writer and screenwriter from Detroit, Michigan. Over the past year, she published two books: A crime thriller written with Daniel Crago called Serial Showgirl (film version coming soon) and a comedic daily motivational called I Don't Care if You Like Me, I Like Me: Bernie Mac's Daily Motivational written with Bernie's widow Rhonda McCullough and writing partner Denise Jordan Walker. Melinda's Christmas RomCom film, A Holiday I Do (Rock Solid Creative Studios) starring Marsha Warfield, Rivkah Reyes, and Jill Larson is set for a holiday 2023 release, and she is currently showrunning a Detroit-based comedy series called The Agency produced by Tennille T. Productions. She also has two other projects in the works, the film version of Serial Showgirl and a film that's affectionately referred to as an "apathetic musical" called Gigs with co-writer/producer Frankie Jason Turner.

Melinda has worked with Tennille T. Productions on multiple projects in various capacities, including If Nothing Changes, Crow, Chasing the Ghost, and Dominus and with Tennille as an actress on A Holiday I Do.

The president of a competing talent agency, CHAD, will be played by Dan Pesta in "The Agency." We first met Dan in 2020 during an audition and he's been in most everything since then; Crow, If Nothing Changes, Chasing the Ghost, No Ceilings, etc. Dan has been acting since a child and is heavily trained in improv. Congratulations on your role and thank you for coming back!

Bradford Clark will be playing a unique role as PRODUCER PAT in "The Agency." Most of you in the film community may recognize Bradford as an AD but he's got several years of theater training and dance experience. Bradford was a key team member in 2020 on the shoot of "If I Can't Have You" and we look forward to having you back this year on the collective team. Congratulations on your role and welcome back!

The Over Anxious Actor TOMMY will be played by Frankie Jason Turner in "The Agency." Frankie is a singer/song writer and is also writing the series intro jingle. Casting Director, Melinda Bryce, has worked with Frankie on previous projects like adapting the webseries GIGS to a feature length film. We're so exctied to see what Frankie can bring to the role and welcome to the team!

BEVEVERLY, an unapologetic talent manager, is being played by Mandy Lodsdon in "The Agency." You might recognize Mandy from "If I Can't Have You" as the outrageous sister Barb. Honestly, what she brought comedically to that project is what is steering us into the comedy genre. We're so thankful to have her re-occuring on The Agency and we guarantee she'll have you cracking up. Welcome Mandy to the team and thank you for coming back!

Joseph Quick will be playing the role of OTIS in "The Agency." Known in the film community mostly as a Gaffer but he's a phenomenal actor as well. Joseph was a key team member for "If I Can't Have You" and we look forward to creating something even more unique. I'm proud to be producing a collective of people has met along the way, and bringing a few new faces to the circle. I'm enjoying many aspects of comedy and can't for you to meet Dusty and everyone else on "The Agency.

Working together since 2019 on features such as; Asbury Park, Twenty Somethings, and Chasing the Ghost Kendra Renee teams up with to do a comedy series.
