Yesterday at the Miss Dior 2024 launch event 💕 Under the visionary guidance of the esteemed perfumer , Parfums Dior unveiled the new enchanting edition of the iconic Miss Dior Parfum!!! 🍾

It’s a youthful, fun scent that’s offset by a hint earthiness. Think floral and gourmand with a hint of some woodiness as it dries down. The top note is mandarin orange, with wild strawberry and jasmine at the heart of the fragrance and the base notes are amber, moss and patchouli.

The contemporary remix still manages to stay true to the original - the Miss Dior Parfum 2024 stands as a testament to the enduring allure of Dior’s unparalleled craftsmanship 😍

This one is sure to be a new fave amongst corporate girlies and the babes looking for a feminine longevity and projection in a fragrance.

I had an amazing time exploring the Ox Horn Campus in Songshan Lake, Donguan (China) as part of the award tour. This place is like a mini Europe, with 12 different zones inspired by European cities. I felt like I was in a fairy tale as I walked through the streets of Paris, Prague, and Verona.

The campus is also home to Huawei’s largest Health Lab, where they research and develop cutting-edge health and fitness technologies. I was so impressed by the facilities and innovation here. is not just a tech giant, but also a dream maker.

Do you ever receive a text and think “I’ll reply when I have energy” and then it’s 3 weeks later and you have to live with the guilt of being a horrible friend? 😅

That was my new year’s resolution last year (respond to texts ASAP) and I failed at it. I hope this years’ resolutions go a tad better 😄

This week, unveiled a fragrant journey for the festive season! 🌟 I attended Estee Lauder Fragrance masterclass and Christmas preview at in .

We enjoyed a fabulous Xmas themed dinner, while we explored the world of Estee’s fine fragrances 🎁✨

Understanding the history behind some of the classics like Youth Dew was an empowering moment - Estée Lauder's Youth Dew is a classic fragrance that has been beloved for decades. It was originally launched in 1953 as a bath oil, because back then, women couldn’t buy perfume for themselves (it had to be gifted from a man). Introducing the bath oil was Estēe’s way getting around that, allowing women to purchase and indulge in the fragrance on their own.

Youth Dew is known for its oriental and spicy fragrance profile, featuring notes of rose, jonquil, lavender, jasmine, lily of the valley, moss, and vetiver, among others. It's often described as a warm, sensual, and long-lasting scent.

My fave gesture was the personalisation of our perfume bottles, which is a complimentary service that will be at selected spots this festive season (including the Sandton City Edgars)

This weekend, I’m shooting something exciting for one of the major retailers in South Africa, can’t say who just yet 🤫😉 stay tuned 💕

I’m really grateful to be doing some creative work 🌸 after feeling down about the current carnage and cruelty going on in the world, doing something that’s inspiring is a great jolt out of that state. Almost like a re-alignment to my purpose, which is to encourage you pursue your passion in the things you enjoy.

For some of us, its everything beauty: makeup, hair, fragrance, skin, body care - not for any external validation, but because we absolutely enjoy it 😂 its fun understanding ingredients, testing out products different formulations and experiences. It’s therapeutic to create works of art with yourself as a canvas.

It’s a genuine interest/curiosity - which is why those “stop painting your face/take your gf for a swim on the first date” comments are so funny coz those people assume you do it for anyone else but you 💕

This weekend, I received the feedback about my content/social media journey. They said the reason people followed my page was because of the sincerity that came across. I was touched by that message. For that, I am so grateful to each of you. This is why this quote from Dior sprang to mind.

My interpretation of buying from luxury brands - its less about having the luxury to show off to others, and more about admiring a designer’s work and impact enough to pay a premium price to support that vision. To align yourself with the message Dior wanted to convey. To reward yourself if you’ve earned it. If you can afford to use the highest-quality makeup, why not? Don’t you deserve it ? 💖

For a roti girl from Parlock, being invited by Dior was humbling to say the least. And if the Christian Dior himself inspires me to be “natural and sincere”, that’s just what I’ll endeavour to do 😊

I was one of the lucky few invited by Greendot Cafe to taste their brand new lunch menu! 🌱🥗🍽️ This Halaal hidden gem never disappoints with their mouthwatering wagyu beef burgers, tacos and chicken pasta (which packed a spicey punch) 😋✨

The coffee shop is the perfect place for some al fresco dining, with its quaint green insta-spots. Finally a cafè where the food tastes as good as the aesthetics, take my word for it and try it for the food, not (just) the many “instagrammable” photo ops 😂💕 although that certainly doesn’t hurt - what do you think of these snapped on the day? 😉
