We've been in our home for a week, and I still can't believe this is my life. I'm so thankful and humbled that after 16 years and over 30 moves with Robert, we get to set down roots with the child we were told we'd never have. I'm so so thankful.

Soon, I'll record a vlog bridging the huge gap in my content from living in England to deciding to purchase our first home in the US.

💔 IT'S NOT EASY... 1. I threw away my expensive planner with all the weeks of the pregnancy marked in and the appointments that won't matter anymore. 2. I discarded all the prenatal vitamins I had organized and refilled my daily pill organizer with my gastric sleeve supplements. 3. I returned maternity clothes that I hadn't worn yet. 4. I started a new notebook/planner system with a calendar for the rest of 2024 and a very basic habit tracker to make sure I'm prioritizing spirituality, nutrition, self care, and movement. 5. I'm talking about every feeling that comes up even if I think it's not something people want to hear. Last time, I bottled it up and exactly a year later ended up in hospital for a nervous breakdown. 6. I'm journaling and focusing on gratitude for the beautiful life we have. Appreciating the toys scattered on the floor and the little boy who put them there, making extra time for snuggles as often as he'll let me. 7. I am working on goals my husband and I share for our near future because life is short and every moment matters. 8. I'm sharing here and creating when I'm called to. #lifeafterloss #1in4 #miscarriage #movingforward

Storage units on the outskirts of town run you about $100 a month, and Google Fi has free unlimited international texts and data. Ross has cheap luggage. And if you're plus size, a seat belt extender is $10 on Amazon. The one thing you have to have is a remote job. If you want it you'll find it, or better yet you'll start freelancing like I did.
