The Mikufan.com has shut down after 16 years of service. I would argue it was one of the main contributors to bringing Vocaloid news to the west when it mattered the most back in 2011, and while the site hasn't contributed to much news for the past 4 years, it will be missed.

It has been difficult to write Vocaloid news as of late, it's not hard to see that given the lack of posting activity on our own page here.

We just had Miku Expo tour Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, there are new producers on the scene now, and the fandom has been bigger than EVER. Yet, it feels like writers are not really needed anymore? The fandom pretty much takes care of itself now, which is quite amazing to be honest. News has pretty much moved to Discord or Tiktok, instead of websites like mikufan, vocaloidotaku, or our own website.

That being said, no we do not plan on shutting down Vocaloid Radio for the foreseeable future. Your generous words and donations have kept the station going, and for that we are forever grateful, even if we have been a bit stagnant for now.

We removed the /128 stream. Right now our default /stream is now broadcasting at 320kbps using 44100Hz for best sound quality.

We never intended to operate our station on Cell. Sadly, we get flagged when we did host our stations app on the App Stores, so if you want to listen, you'll need to accept the bandwidth usage or listen while on WiFi.

The workaround is to use Tunein Premium which supports most "BingeOn" services offered by Carriers.

We just had 2 people listening on the 128 stream, so there was no point having both. Hope you all understand! Thanks!

Site is "back up" sorta. At least you can land on a page with a player now. Might stay that way since I don't have to pay extra for more hosting by having Google host it. Cheers!

Our site is currently down. It will be down until further notice or until I find a new host. I've been in the market for a bit looking for a new host, but have been side tracked. So this failing today kind of forces me to do this. Anyway, as stated before, here are your options for listening.
