BIOGRAPHY OF THE LATE FATHER PETRO VITALIS OGUTU MUSUMBA
The late father Petro Vitalis Ogutu Musumba was born in the year 1934 in Yenga Kodungo village
He was the son of the late Ayubu Musumba and Miriam Oloo
In the year 1951, he was employed by Mason Company in Nairobi which specifically dealt with car paintings. He was then transferred to Gilgil between 1951 and 1956 where he was employed as a police. He the resigned his job as a police officer due to unavoidable circumstances and came back home in Yenga Village.
In 1957, he married the late Francisca Apiyo Mugua and was blessed with 5 children namely: Lucy Achieng Agatha, Benta Akinyi, Alice Adhiambo, Consolata Aoko and finally James Ogutu
He was involved in Fish mongering between the years 1960-1964 which ensured the needs of his family are met.
He joined Legio Maria of Africa Church Mission in the year 1963 and this is when his ordination as a father was done and they were jailed in the year 1964 by the government because the government had not recognized that type of church.
He built his first home in 1969 and thereafter his second home in 1970 at a place called Olwa Kanyaona which was prophesized by the founder and spiritual leader of Legio Maria Of Africa Church Mission Baba Simeo Melkio Lodivicus Hosea Santa Maria who told him that That was his praying place, burial place and people from all corner of the world will search him for prayers and bring him food to meet his needs in that same place
He sold cloths between 1973 and 1980 at a place called Sidindi Market and thereafter a shopkeeper between 1980-1990. From 1991-2001, he was a peasant farmer in his village Olwa Kanyaona.
From 2001-2014, he was involved in buying and selling of Cows Business nad he was helped by his grandson Antone Otieno Ogutu.
From 2015 to his time death( 2021), he turned his life to God and he became a Father and he prayed to his people
