Our family has deep roots with Wexford Baseball—playing, coaching, and sponsoring teams over the years. Through it all, Darryl Harding was always there, making every child feel like they were the most important person in the world. Even after we moved on from baseball, Darryl never failed to greet us with his infectious smile and unwavering positivity.

Darryl truly was the best of us. His kindness and dedication will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, Darryl. You made a lasting impact on so many lives, and you will be deeply missed.

Hit the hardwood last night with and our boys to watch our team, the Scarborough Shooting Stars. Ahmed seems to know everyone in so he introduced me to the co-owner of the Scarborough Shooting Stars, Sam Ibrahim.

Who is Sam? Let me tell you...

Sam Ibrahim is a successful Scarborough entrepreneur and business leader. He immigrated to Canada from Egypt with his family in the 1980s and grew up in the Markham and Lawrence area. Sam attended the University of Toronto Scarborough and later founded the Arrow Group of Companies, a conglomerate of over 20 corporations spanning various industries like scientific research, finance, and sports. His company became Scarborough's first billion-dollar corporation.

He also owns the Scarborough Shooting Stars basketball team.

Sam has a deep connection with Scarborough and the Scarborough Health Network (SHN) hospital, where his son received exceptional care. He recently donated $25 million to the University of Toronto Scarborough to establish the Sam Ibrahim Centre of Inclusive Excellence in Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Leadership. This centre aims to support future entrepreneurs from Scarborough and provide them with resources, mentorship, and opportunities to accelerate their ventures.

🎹 If you're not familiar with Rob Preuss you are most likely familiar with his work. He's a founding member of new wave band, The Spoons who went on to play with classic rock's Honeymoon Suite.

👑Rob has also worked with Rami Malek for his Academy award-winning portrayal of Queen's Freddie Mercury as well as being the musical director for Abba's Mamma Mia in Toronto and Broadway.
