HLG Films was formed by the creators of the critically acclaimed, groundbreaking web series, Break a Leg, which was written about in numerous publications, including: The Wall Street Journal, LA Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Slate Magazine, The Times (UK) and a multitude of others. Break a Leg’s website received millions of hits and the series was recently licensed in an international deal with FOX Italy. HLG Films has worked with numerous clients to create content specifically catered to meet their needs and target demographic. The Black Band Project (www.blackbandproject.com), a series of four videos HLG Films co-produced with Branded Evolution Media Consultants for Camacho Ci**rs, was part of a viral marketing campaign that created unprecedented buzz in the cigar industry. The Black Band website received over 3.5 million unique users per month, and 63% of these viewers watched all four videos.
