🚨 NEW EPISODE IS LIVE 🚨

In the latest iteration of I Disagree With Dave, I am joined by longtime friend . He took a break from making memes for to revisit a conversation we had a decade or more ago on the nature of healing.

🚨 NEW EPISODE IS LIVE 🚨

In this weeks edition of “I Disagree With Dave,” I chat with my friend about a variety of theological topics.

When we first met, roughly 6 years ago, I was on the way out of identifying with the Reformed/Calvinist camp and Andy was on his way in! We talk about our journeys and where God has us now.

Have you listened to the most recent episode yet? joins me to discuss same s*x relationships.

As two straight guys, we didn’t want to make any LGBTQ Christians re-litigate their existence. We do encourage you to listen to and read gay Christians. We suggest several books that span the affirming / non-affirming spectrum.

This conversation is humbly offered and my hope is that it challenges us all to love like Christ. Thanks for listening!

For the next episode of ‘I Disagree with Dave,’ I’m joined by who appeared on episodes 21 and 49. This go around we discuss same s*x relationships. Alex has landed on the fully affirming side of things and - while I have a lot of questions and critiques for the ways Christians have interacted with LGBTQ individuals - I am not.

NEW PATRON EPISODE!
A clip from Dave Ramsey’s radio show was making the rounds the other day and it had me thinking that financial wisdom isn’t always Christ-like financial wisdom. Jesus is less interested in us mastering the market than he is cultivating our trust in him and our generosity toward others.
Listen now by becoming a Patron for as little as $2/month.

Could these words spoken by a Jewish Rabbi to a crowd of nobodies still have impact today? believes they do. The Beatitudes are an invitation to a different way of living - a way of more empathy, compassion, listening, and forgiveness.
As I think about this episode, , and Jesus’ words on this first Sunday of advent I am struck by the hope that they bring. Jesus came to bring hope to those who need it most: the poor, the meek, those seeking justice, and the persecuted.
As we wait for Christ this advent season, as we feel the longing remember the promise of these words from the hill: you are blessed when you’re at the end of your rope.
