They are right when they say second time is even harder…After second c-section our body and mind needs more time to heal and recover….It’s been almost 3 months since i had my second delivery and I couldn’t bounce back a bit…this time my body demanding extra efforts and time…honestly it’s depressing but I’m trying not to rush things now…after losing my son I’ve took so many impulsive decisions and adapted many bad habits I regret it now and that’s a sign of healing I guess….Giving time to your body is a good thing but I’ve realised I have started using it as an excuse now whenever i feel depressed or hungry i just grab something sweet doesn’t matter it’s healthy or not i just have it to satisfy my cravings that are some parts I’ve to work on…See the problem is that we all are somewhere well aware about ourselves where are we lacking, what needs to be change but working on it is hard and there comes our coping mechanism to help us by self victimising…Motherhood is definitely the hardest state for a woman and managing time for ourselves seems like impossible most of the time that’s why we should give ourselves some time initially…But motherhood is a forever thing now that’s our life now…we have to adjust accordingly…we can’t stop our breastfeeding hunger, sweet cravings but we can look for healthier option that’s in our hand, we can’t join gym and begin heavy workouts but daily at least 15-20 minutes we can spare for short walks…start from zero and small habits that’s the mantra…and we aren’t alone in this it’s our partners and family’s duty too to help us in this journey…they should be helping without saying but if they don’t ask them for help that’s the least they can do…nowadays I’m at my parents place and things are easy here still I’m struggling to adapt good habits…daily i try my best to be mentally happy but I ended up overeating whenever past trauma hits me i grab something to eat to
