It's mental health awareness week. We are lucky to have a wonderful community with our horses and horse people and hopefully always a person or an equine to lean on when we need a little comfort or support. Have a great week!

💜In a recent survey conducted by mental health charity Riders Minds, released in conjunction with , 12-18 May, 93.3% of respondents said that they have experienced kindness in the equestrian community.

In Eastern Germany there is a wonderful horsey tradition - Osterreiten - where men ride horses in procession on Easter Sunday, to announce the resurrection of Jesus. They ride at a steady pace, in formal clothing and with the horses in decorated saddles and bridles. Often there a large number of riders, making for a fantastic spectacle.

We believe that sharing horses with your sons (and daughters) is a wonderful gift for them, and for you. This is us at the start of our horsey journey together and spending time together with our ponies, all these years later (boys are now 16 and 19), is a joy and a pleasure.

Wishing all the mums out there a fabulous day - hope you are spoiled rotten. Boys, you get to do the p**p picking today!!

A few important things we’d like to share about our yard 💕🍂

✨We don’t mind if you’ve had a tough time getting out the door and get to us late. You will never be rushed off because of a back to back session
✨Whilst many children enjoy the serenity of their time with the ponies and are their calmest selves, others enjoy their outdoor freedom with exuberance! We welcome both. Our ponies do not bat an eyelid at any level of noise and play, the only risk is they might join in!
✨ We’re passionate about making the horse world accessible to all - not just those already lucky enough to be ‘horsey’
✨ It’s a judgement free zone and we love sharing the mutual benefits people and horses have for each other

We also offer a free meet and greet, for those interested to find out more but not ready to sign up to a session yet. This can be great for children - and adults - that take confidence from knowing what’s ahead for them.
