𝕊𝕚𝕩 𝕞𝕠𝕟𝕥𝕙𝕤 𝕝𝕒𝕥𝕖𝕣...
My last post was January 6th and I have officially relocated from Hawaii to the PNW. Washington is "home" now and so far I have no regrets.
Yes, I do still think of Hawaii and miss it. I don't think anyone could leave the islands and say they honestly don't.
An interesting fact is Hawaii seems to have followed me here because everywhere I look, there is someone who grew up/lived in Hawaii, Hawaiian food, or some connection to the islands. I joke that I've found my ohana away from the "rock".
I'll admit sometimes I miss all of the sunshine, listening to the ocean's waves, and feeling the Tradewind across my skin. Nothing beats those beautiful tropical views.
Washington is a different beauty of its own and the cooler weather is my preference. I'm still exploring my new home, but so far, I'm happy with the change. I'm ready to do more hiking and capture the Pacific Northwest through my lens.
