I graduated from the San Carlos Academy of Fine Arts in Mexico City with a BA in Fine Arts. I continued coursework specializing in printmaking at Cal Sate Long Beach. I first established my own design company in Mexico City where we did graphic design and filmmaking and animation, my principal clients being the Mexican Petroleum Institute and Kimberly Clark. In 1982 I moved to New York City where
I freelanced for various advertising agencies such as Walter Thompson, Saatchi and Saatchi and Landor, then I became a production artist for Schaedler, Quinzel and Lennart, specializing in supercomps for TV production for advertising agencies. In 1989 I moved to San José, California and landed a job as an illustrator for Harding Marketing Communications, a design and production firm specializing in the high-tech sector, our clients have included Hewlett-Packard, Google, Apple, Symantec and other world-wide companies. I worked at Harding until November 2014. Most of this portfolio reflects work done through all these years at Harding. I have now established my own design and illustration firm and offer my skills as an illustrator, print and web graphic designer. I am a power user of Illustrator, Photoshop, In-Design and Muse. I also work in fine arts, my media being oils, acrylics, watercolor and printmaking.
