🗣️ “Do you want to play a social experiment?” New outreach group Vegan Future of Amsterdam is using smart ways to find those people who are vegan at heart and could go vegan. Through means of various thought experiments these people realise they want to align their actions with the values they already possess! Suggested first steps on the way to going vegan are to visit a vegan restaurant in Amsterdam, to watch a speech by Gary Yourofsky or to sign up for a 22 day vegan challenge.
And it works! About 80% of the people who go into conversation end up going vegan or taking a first step.
Vegan Future of Amsterdam is doing outreach every two weeks at Museumplein.
