Sherman PD responded to the Rendezvous Club on Texoma Pky for a report of two females fighting. Officers on scene now requesting EMS for a laceration to the head.

🚨MAJOR ACCIDENT🚨

Major accident with 5 vehicles reportedly involved on SB 75 south of County Line Road. Howe EMS requested for mutual aid. Unknown injuries.

Here is information from Denison PD on the pursuit last night.

At approximately 2:00 a.m., Denison Police were patrolling near Seymore Street and Woodlawn Boulevard when they observed a silver Ford Focus commit a stop sign violation.

Officers initiated a traffic stop by activating their emergency lights and sirens. The driver, later identified as Dillon Lancaster, failed to comply and evaded at a high rate of speed, prompting a pursuit. The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office joined the pursuit to assist.

During the chase, Lancaster exhibited erratic driving behavior, including entering opposing traffic lanes multiple times. Officers suspected he was intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.

The pursuit continued into Sherman before Lancaster circled back to Denison and eventually crossed into Oklahoma. Due to the suspect vehicle being an immediate danger to the public, Denison Police and Grayson County Sheriff’s Office were able to continue the pursuit into Oklahoma.

Lancaster later re-entered Denison via U.S. 75, allowing Denison Police to re-engage in the pursuit. His vehicle eventually began to stall and came to a stop in the 400 block of North York Avenue.

Denison Police and the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office conducted a felony stop and successfully took Lancaster into custody without incident.

A search of the vehicle revealed a small bag containing a white substance, along with syringes. The substance tested positive for fentanyl. It was also determined that the vehicle displayed fictitious license plates.

Lancaster was transported to a local hospital, where he admitted to ingesting fentanyl. He is currently receiving treatment and will be transported to the Grayson County Jail upon release.

Lancaster faces multiple charges, including:
- Three counts of Probation Violation Warrants
- Evading Arrest Detention with a Motor Vehicle (with Previous Convictions)
- Wrong/Fictitious/Altered/Obscured Vehicle Registration
- Possession of a Controlled Substance
- Tampering with Physical Evidence with Intent to Impai57

Denison PD is in pursuit of a possible intoxicated driver backed up by GCSO. The pursuit has crossed Carpenter's Bluff into Oklahoma. Bryan County in route to the area. Updates if we get them.

*UPDATE, location is now north on 78 from Peanut Trail approaching Achille.*

**UPDATE, pursuit is WB on 91 approaching Colbert. Bryan County joined the pursuit in Achille. Colbert and Calera notified. Speeds are not excessive, but the vehicle is driving on the wrong side of the road.**

***UPDATE, the pursuit is SB on 69/75 and has come back into Texas. Bryan County terminating. GCSO and Denison are still pursuing.***

****UPDATE, the suspect took the 120 exit and the pursuit went east on Morton.****

Dean Lackey and Allen Self are Commissioners. We do not know what the position of the others is. We ard told some of them could be with the architect for the court house or other county employees. In all, 6 were indicted on the same charge. More info as it is available.

🚨FORMER COUNTY JUDGE ARRESTED FOR ALLEGED EMBEZZLEMENT🚨

We have learned from a reliable source that former Fannin County Judge Creta Lynn "Spanky" Carter II has been arrested for alleged embezzlement. The screenshot of online records, provided below, show the name as C, CL and not his full name. (More good old boy politics?) Our source also tells us that more arrests are to come. Calls to the Fannin County DA's office have not been returned. We will bring you additional information as it is available.

Please pray for all of those affected by the incident in New Orleans that is being investigated as an act of terrorism. At least 15 are dead and dozens injured. The suspect is dead but it is not known if he acted alone. Here is a link to remarks by President Biden.

🚂TRAIN DERAILMENT🚂 There is a train derailment in Denison. It is on the track that runs from Mirick to Armstrong and back to Crawford and Morton. We know that Armstrong is closed and possibly Mirick. These appear to be all rock cars, so there should be no danger to the public. Thanks to Brandi Keith for sending the video. She owns all rights.

🚨HIGH SPEED CHASE🚨 We received dozens of messages about the high speed chase that went NB out of Collin County. Here is what we know at the moment. A pursuit out of Collin County went NB on 75 through Grayson County into Oklahoma. The pursuit turned back SB in Bryan County. It ended on SB 75 near Shepherd in Sherman. We do not have additional information at this time. The video below was sent in. It is of the arrest at the end of the pursuit. Thanks to Yanin Rangel for sending it. She owns all rights. We will post additional information as it is available.

*UPDATE, we have spoken to Sherman PD. They have all the information needed for this incident* Do you recognize the person in this video. The person riding the bike got off of the bike at the light on Texoma Pky and Taylor. The person can be seen in the video going to the window of someone in a Sherman ISD vehicle and confronting them. If you know who this is or have information on the incident, please contact Sherman PD. The person who took the video wishes to remain anonymous but owns all rights.
