Tennessee Republicans expelled two Black Democratic lawmakers, Justin Jones and Justin Pearson, for supporting anti-gun violence protests in the wake of the horrific shooting in Nashville. Democratic Rep. Gloria Johnson, a white legislator, narrowly survived her vote. Tennessee Republicans' fascism and racism was on full display as they stripped away the voice of thousands of Tennesseans.
