Today I replaced the transmission fluid and filter on the Yukon. Took over 6 hrs because GMC has the exhaust going over the oil pan and it was a pain to get the pan off and back on.

Transmission has never been serviced by previous owner. Has 128K miles so it was very dirty. People need to remember transmission fluid needs to be changed every 60K to 80k miles. It's just as important as your engine oil.

I ordered some new tires. Should arrive tomorrow. Really hoping this will make my ride a lot smoother. Current tires are 13 yrs old and overdue for replacement despite having 90% tread still on them. I love the tread pattern on these. I'll tell you more about them when they arrive.

Today I fixed the second oil leak my Z3 had. The VANOS line was leaking pretty badly at the crimp points. Cleaned up all the oil off under the car. Engine block, oil pan and part of the exhaust are now oil free.
