Pink Amethyst shown here, $22.95 each

We’ve pictured these Pink Amethyst clusters resting on Amethyst so you can see the difference. Most people think of Amethyst as being a stone of protection and release of OCD symptoms. Pink Amethyst is thought to be a stone of love, hope, peace, and happiness. It’s often called upon as an ally for healing the heart and releasing negative emotions. I feel that it can be a good ally for building self-esteem, self-love, and stimulating one’s imagination. I never underestimate this stone…it may look soft, but I find it to be “bad-ass” in dissolving any kind of “victim” consciousness.
Blessings,
Susie

Question for Modesto friends & baseball fans.
If the Nuts are leaving, maybe we should try to get the Pioneer League here? Think they would appreciate the ballpark we have? Oakland has the Ballers & there’s the Yolo Highwheelers and they are attracting a lot of attention and the games are fun with some fun rules. Check out the league and let us know what you think!

The Jacksons are Coming!

The Jacksons recently celebrated 50 years as one of the most successful groups in music history. Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael, five brothers from Gary, Indiana, known originally as The Jackson 5 and later The Jacksons, rose to fame for their combination of extraordinary musical talent and spectacular choreography. They earned the status of pop royalty in the music world, providing the launching pad for what would become Michael Jackson's legendary solo career.

Now Jackie, Tito and Marlon are headed to the Gallo Center to perform the wonderful hits their fans adore: "I Want You Back," "ABC," "The Love You Save," "I'll Be There," "Never Can Say Goodbye," "Dancing Machine" and more. The Jacksons literally made music history with four debut singles all reaching No. 1. They ultimately scored 17 Top Forty singles on the Hot 100, and to date their Motown recordings alone have sold in excess of 200 million.

So very sad to learn of the passing of Greg Kihn. He was a true rock icon, funny as hell, loaded with amazing 80s & 90s stories, super fun DJ and so much more. Every one of his shows were a blast. It was a magic time when Third Party opened for him at the American Graffiti Festival. We normally play Breakup Song but didn’t, out of respect. When we told him that, he was, “aww. I love listening to people cover that song!” What a great time with him and he will be missed.
Thanks Greg Kihn.
