Our highlight of 2024 has to be Shropshire Number Stations being featured on BBC Radio 3's Late Junction back in August.

Enormous thanks to Verity Sharp (whose kind words you can hear here) for featuring it on her show, and everyone who bought a copy of the S&MW.

Eric joined friend of the label for a round up of the year for Plenty Wenlock, and for him personally, in this episode of Andy's Spoken Label podcast, which is published today.

They cover Plenty Wenlock's 2024 releases, his Cambrian EP on Wayside & Woodland Recordings and essay 'Boarders' in their 'Landnotes. 1' zine, as well as his recent book, 'A Guide to the Lore of Plenty Wenlock', which is now onto its second pressing.

In the second half, amidst a handful of readings from the book, they discuss plans for 2025, the joint-15th anniversary of Eric's 'Snailbeach Mines Trust' and 'Shropshire Hill Country' albums, and end on a rumination on the changes Eric has observed in the rural landscape over the last few years, and the effect these have had upon those who live within it.
