Where’s that ice scraper?? Here’s your friendly reminder to bring it inside at night. That way you have it handy to clear your windshield off completely before driving in the morning, especially if it snows or freezes over unexpectedly overnight.

It increases your field of view which is safer for you and other drivers. It also prevents others from getting hit with chunks of hardened snow or ice when you’re driving. Don’t forget to clean the inside of those car windows as well to avoid the blur or glare caused by repeated fogging up.

Do yourself and others a favor by clearing before steering.

Avoiding the crowds? Prefer shopping from your couch? We don’t blame you! This and throughout the holiday season, avoid having your holiday fun spoiled by an identity thief by taking a few simple steps:

1. Do your holiday shopping with reputable retailers.

Stick with bigger-name retailers you know and trust. Once you've decided where to shop, bookmark those retailers' sites to go there directly rather than clicking on offers in ads, emails, or text messages. Avoid third-party sellers.

2. Only shop on secure sites to avoid Cyber Monday scams.

Verify that the business is legitimate and that their site is secure. To do so, look for a lock icon in the top left corner of your browser bar when you're on the site. A secure site's URL should start with HTTPS and not HTTP.

3. Safeguard store accounts with strong passwords.

Did you create an account, instead of checking out as a guest, to make it easier to shop with a favorite retailer? Make sure to protect that account with a strong password so a hacker can't get into your account and steal your information or make a purchase with your card.

4. Protect your financial information.

Always opt for credit not debit. Don't save your card information. This reduce the chances of having your card information compromised in a retailer data breach. OR consider paying with a payment provider like PayPal. If you go this route, the retailer won't ever get your card information.

5. Don't shop on public Wi-Fi.

Shopping online from your laptop, tablet, or phone while connected to public Wi-Fi can open the door to hackers.

6. Check for fraud AFTER your holiday shopping.

Just as Santa's always watching, you should be too. During the holiday season, take a few minutes to keep an eye on your bank and credit accounts online. Glance over the transactions daily to make sure the amounts are correct and look for fraud.

Start Of Nebraska Weather Central

Logan Sprunk the CEO of Weather Forecast Nebraska. When the Pilger Nebraska twin tornadoes happen Logan jumped in quick action. Logan was like that is pretty cool how storm chasers get to view that stuff up close. After everything calmed down Logan took a drive up to Pilger, He saw the town was destroyed. Just seeing it destroyed made me think this looks really sad but I might just be interested in the weather career. So in July 2015, Logan created Weather Forecast Nebraska. Weather Forecast Nebraska has been rebranded on 7/11/2018. To Nebraska Weather Central
