Museum Age of Dinosaurs!

Bit late on posting but this was an amazing experience. Crazy to think what goes into the process of cleaning these bones and preserving them.

Most of the discoveries have been found by farmers or station owners.

The ladies in the Lab have a lot of work to do. All the white pastered forms on the pallet shelves are all dinosaur bones ready to be worked on.

This is a non-profit organization so if you are going on a trip through west queensland be sure to pull into the museum, check it out and suport these guys 👌👍

A few things ticked off the bucket list!

We finally visited the gateway to the outback, Longreach!!!

Had the best time visiting the Qantas Museum & Australia's Stockman's Hall of Fame.

Some pretty amazing history behind both these places. The Qantas Museum had some construction happening so we couldn't go out on the wings but it was so awesome to see this bad boy up close and personal.. it is massive!!!!

The Stockman's Hall of Fame experience is a must do as well. Amazing people, not just putting on a show but teaching the audience about horsemenship and working with live stock. ⁣

Had an absolute ball in St George. Caught up with friends we met up in a mustering camp near Doomadgee. We got the real St George experience!

This time last year we met this beauitful couple at Lorella Springs in the NT! We were lucky enough to spend the past 3 days with them at their home in Narromine.

We are super grateful and thank you so much for having us! We were super spoilt! We got fed, had a warm bed, a hot shower, and the best company!

This is what travelling is all about! Making lifelong friends who become family.

When you come from somewhere that gets a wetseason every year you don't really appreciate rain as much as you probably should!! 🌧

It is a massive eye opener for us seeing what a drought really looks like and what effects it has on people/livestock/crops etc. 😫☔

Today we had rain and all I wanted it to do was keep raining because they need it sooooo badly!!!

Did the touristy thing and checked out the Toronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo.. Last time I was here I would have been about 9, on a family holiday and I vomitted my guts up all day. Lucky I got to enjoy it this time even if it was raining! 😁😁👌

Pretty bloody cool to have seen this!! Everyone who knows my Dad knows he loves his V8 Supercars!

Bought back memories of watching Bathurst with my Dad growing up! Definetly keen to head back and watch it in real life!

Dan had fun doing the circuit in the Cruiser with camper in tow 😂😂😂

We can now say we have been to Australia's Capital City! 🇦🇺

The Australia War Memorial was just breath taking - they have done such an amazing job to remember our soldiers who fought for our freedom. The entry way at the end of the pool housed an unknown solider who fought for us! Its a must see if going to Canberra.

All buildings were beautiful including the Parliament House, The Old Parliament House, The Library, Australian National Museum, the list goes on!!
