Today marks the four year anniversary of the Murder of Ernie Phillips.

The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in gaining some answers and providing closure for the Phillips family.

It happened in the late hours of March 6, 2020 into the early hours of March 7, 2020 at a residence on Olive Church Road, Paragon, Indiana. Upon arrival of deputies the body of 36 year-old Ernie Phillips was discovered.

The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding the killer(s) of Ernie.

Thankful to the Indiana State Police for not giving up on this child. He has been identified as Cairo Jordan from Atlanta, Georgia and he would’ve turned 6 on October 24th. Now justice can be served.
