Monday, November 6, 2023
at the Goodwill Building, 1669 Fillmore Street (at Post), San Francisco.
Speakers will commence at noon.

The mural stands a very short walk from both The Fillmore and the site of Winterland, both venues where Bill held hundreds and hundreds of shows and benefits.

Much gratitude to Lisa Brewer and MissionArt, aerosol artist Wes Marks, photographer Ken Friedman, Bill’s family, the folks from The Fillmore, Karen Boyd and Goodwill Industries who allowed us the use of their wall, and others throughout the BGP community to be able to bring this mural to life, right where it belongs, in the Fillmore District of San Francisco.

Remembering the one and only Bill Graham on the anniversary of his passing. Bill was a great supporter of mine. He cosigned on a loan for my first car. He financed the seed money for two of my books, Drumming at the Edge of Magic and Planet Drum.
