Ministry of Sports has today issued an update on stadia preparations for the upcoming September CHAN 2024, June World Cup qualifiers and AFCON 2027

🔹️Talanta Sports City construction progressing as planned
🔹️Kasarani stadium upgrade is well on schedule
🔹️Nyayo Stadium has been chosen as venue for CHAN after consultation with CAF
🔹️Upgrade of Nyayo to begin immediately after KipKeino Classic on 22nd April 2024
🔹️Contractor identified to upgrade Nyayo for CHAN 2024 and as a supporting facility for AFCON 2027
🔹️Harambee Stars June World Cup qualifiers against Burundi and Cote D'Ivoire venue to be determined later
