Hailing from Sydney's Northern Beaches, Harpoon (Ryan Harper) has established himself as one of the rising stars to emerge out of Sydney's house music scene. In late 2018, Harpoon shifted gears with his music style and he has been reaping the benefits ever since. Blending warm house beats with pulsating bass lines and a dash of a pop vocals, Harpoon's music goes down like your favourite drink at s

unset on a hot summer night. Harpoon inked a deal with the illustrious Tinted Records in 2019 and with his first release with "In Your Mind" Feat IDO it reached the poll position of #1 in the ARIA Charts (Australian Recording Industry Association). Following on from "In Your Mind" he Released his second single "Midnight" which also Peaked at #7 in the ARIA Charts.

2020 saw Harpoons music take to new heights as he racked up millions & millions of Spotify streams furthering his online presence. Whilst also continuing to sketch his name in the charts release after release now with every single consecutively breaking the top #10. This including his more recent releases such as “Horizon” , "Enjoying the View" & “I Still Feel You”. After such big success you think it would be time for a rest, but no Harpoon has been working harder than ever before on his first ever EP which will contain 5 brand new tracks with Collaborative features from some high profile singers from new territories including the UK, Sweden & Germany set to drop in early 2021.

Ever since I started DJing, it’s been a dream to bring my favorite singers and artists to perform with me. This is a first – I’m bringing my good friend Janai all the way from the UK to perform live for her debut in Australia! From the 15th of November, we’re packing in as many shows as possible over two weeks to see as many of you as we can. This journey hasn’t been easy – so many of my tracks have faced rejection, turned down time and time again. But here’s the thing… rejection isn’t failure, it’s fuel. It’s the fire that pushes you to believe in yourself when others don’t. 🔥

This track, sitting at #4 on the ARIA charts today, is proof that if you believe in your vision, you have to keep pushing forward, even when doors keep closing. Some of my biggest tracks were initially declined over and over before they found their place.

This time, I took the risk, bet on myself, and kept full creative control – no labels, no A&R, no timelines. Just pure, authentic sound, exactly how I wanted it. 🎧 Sometimes, it’s about trusting your gut and letting your passion lead the way.

When things get tough, it’s not about how many setbacks you face, but how you choose to keep moving forward.
