Captured this on my dash cam this morning around 7am. They were heading East on the 210 fwy near Sylmar.
Northridge: The LAPD responded to a call of a shooting at the 17000 block of Plummer Street around 11:25 a.m.
They found a woman that had been shot in her car in the parking lot of an apartment complex. She was transported to a nearby hospital with a gunshot wound to the shoulder.
A SWAT team was called to the scene as well as K9 units to assist with negotiations. They made entry into to the apartment shortly after 3pm and found a woman, in her 50's, deceased from an apparent self inflicted gun shot.
On December 9th, 2023, LAPD Mission Area and Council District 6 presented the "Miracle in Mission" Toy Giveaway at the Sepulveda Rec Center located at 8825 Kester Ave. in Panorama City. The event ran from 9am till 3pm and drew hundreds of children along with their families from all around the surrounding area. The event featured Santa Claus with his sleigh for taking pictures with, a sled area with real snow to play on, a toy giveaway, games and much more. Dozens of officers, cadets and volunteers made it a memorable day for lots of smiling faces.
(Northridge, CA) @ approx 11:55pm on 11/17/23 a vehicle appears to have lost control due to driving speed and wet road conditions. The vehicle collided with and sheared a telephone pole causing multiple wires to come down and knock out power. No injuries were reported and the street was blocked off between Petit and Hayvenhurst for several hours.
Allegedly armed suspect who was waving a gun at people in the Target parking lot was quickly apprehended without any shots being fired. Incident occurred at the Target on Balboa and Nordhoff at approx. 2pm today on 11/12/23.
On Sunday, October 15th, 2023, the Petersen Automotive Museum celebrated 100 years of the Hollywood sign by driving many of their film-used vehicles through Hollywood and up Beachwood Canyon to take photos with the sign in the background.
HOLLYWOOD: on 9/4/23, healthcare workers, elected officials, labor leaders and their supporters gathered at Los Feliz Elementary School at approx 9am. The rally, which was organized by SEIU-Healthcare Workers West(SEIU-UHW and co-sponsored by the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor, brought thousands together from nearby and out of state. From there, at about 10am, they began their march down to Kaiser Permanente on Sunset Blvd. At 11am, the street was cleared and a small group gathered to form a circle and join hands in a show of civil disobedience. Shortly after, LAPD, which was on standby with dozens of officers, proceeded to surround the group and then began to take their info, zip tie them, and walk them off of the street. Once the street was cleared of the protesters, the officers disbanded and everyone began to make their way.

NORTHRIDGE: at approx 6:50pm today on 8/31/23, a two vehicle collision occurred at the 16600 block of Nordhoff Blvd. The collision occurred between a white suv and a small passenger car ending with the suv rolling over. Paramedics with the LAFD rendered help to the driver of the suv. The other driver appeared to be ok. No further info or cause of collision is known.
Northridge: at approx. 11:00 am on Sunday 8/27/23, an officer involved shooting occurred at Canby & Malden. Officers were speaking with a man in front of the building when he then pulled a knife and charged at them. At least one officer shot and struck him. They rendered aid while waiting for an ambulance. Once they paramedics arrived, they declared him dead. The knife was recovered and is still an ongoing investigation.
Two people shot while sitting in their cars. One found dead. Be careful out their and keep your heads on a swivel. I don’t say this to create fear but to provide awareness. Especially to all my fellow stringers out their staging at night!
NORTHRIDGE: on Thursday 8/10/23 @ approx 2:45 pm, a vehicle collision occurred which resulted in one of the vehicles hitting a street sign, shearing a telephone pole, rolling over and catching fire. It appears that everyone got out unharmed and the fire was initially being put out by a resident until LAFD could get there and takeover. A person was heard to have been saying that one of the vehicles was traveling at a high rate of speed as it was heading eastbound on Nordhoff. Collision occurred at 17000 Nordhoff, just before Balboa.
MISSION HILLS: at approx. 9:11 am a 56yr old woman was killed and two others injured after an SUV drove into the service area of the Toyota dealership at 11041 N. Sepulveda Blvd. It's believed that the elderly driver accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the brake and struck three people. Witnesses found the woman stuck under the vehicle in the debris after being dragged about 20 feet. The 56yr old woman was taken to a trauma center where she was pronounced dead. The two employees that were hit suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Report of a teenage female being shot at a party by a male trying to break in. Incident occurred at 8500 block of Oak Park south of Parthenia at approx. 10:20 pm. in Northridge.
A vehicle that was stolen in North Hills led to a short pursuit which ended with the apprehension of the thief at Plummer and Hayvenhurst on the evening of 7/8/23.
JL Marking and SFV LAPD hold a catalytic converter marking event. Free to the public, people had the VIN numbers from their vehicles marked on the catalytic converters of their cars.
27th Annual Rodeo Drive Concourse d'Elegance & Rally
On June 19, 2022 the City of Beverly Hills hosted a police escorted Road Rally though the streets of Beverly Hills that ended at the 27th Annual Beverly Hills Concourse d’Elegance & Car Show. The event is sponsored by the City of Beverly Hills and directly benefits the Beverly Hills Police Officers Association and Beverly Hills Firefighters’ Association, non-profit charities raising funds for first responders and their families.
