*RE- A DIRGE FOR PDP*

I read with utmost amusement the article written by Osehobo Victor Ofure Titled A DIRGE FOR PDP, it is rather unfortunate that a man who is the deputy publicity secretary of the ailing APC in Edo State will write an article laced with so much ignorance, self deceit, delusion, and political hallucination.
It is not surprising to us, that the APC and her political "mouths for hire" continue to churn out all manner of lies and propaganda on a daily basis, since they have absolutely nothing to tell the good people of Edo State.
That Osehobo Victor Ofure is ignorant of the difference between a state campaign council and a national campaign council tells a lot about the uninformed mindset of the individuals in the political association called the APC which to all Edo people is synonymous with poverty, mismanagement, corruption, and unimaginable suffering.
Every election year, the APC in Edo is always quick to embark on a delusional journey of boisterous braggadocio when in reality the APC is currently no match for the PDP in Edo State.
In the 2020 Gubernatorial election they openly bragged that the PDP will lose the election, only for the APC to suffer a crushing and humiliating defeat to the PDP, again in 2023 State House of Assembly election as usual, the APC bragged that they will not only defeat the PDP, but will also immediately kick start an impeachment process against Governor Godwin Obaseki but thanks to the good and well informed people of Edo State, the APC was defeated and their evil plans were buried with their ego.
Electioneering is a game of strategic planning, but unfortunately for the APC leadership in Edo they lack the industry to engage in strategic and critical thinking process.
Take an unbiased analysis of the candidates presented by the PDP and the APC in the forth coming gubernatorial election, while the PDP has presented Asue Ighodalo a man with sterling qualities, thoroughly excellent qualifications, highly intellectually sound, and well educated. The APC has presented a candidate that is intellectually deficient, morally bankrupt, and grossly unqualified to lead a State like ours.
What the APC fail to understand is that Edo voters are very sophisticated voters and when it comes to choosing a party to entrust the state to they will choose the PDP, they will never return Edo to the days when "lions and tigers" freely roamed the streets of Edo unleashing untold mayhem on Edo people. The good people of Edo state know the difference between the PDP which represents light and progress, and the APC which is a party of darkness, hardships and misery.
The APC which has been unable to form a campaign council because of the political squabbles between her rank and file is pointing fingers at the PDP that has successfully formed a campaign structure from the state to the LGA and down to the ward levels.
I want to state it categorically that The PDP STATE gubernatorial campaign council was NOT dissolved at any time.
Finally, I want to call on Edo people both at home and in the diaspora to completely disregard the APC, their propaganda and lies, they have nothing to campaign with in this election, and have resorted to lies and fake news. The APC will learn another bitter lesson come September 2024.
