In 2015, when my producers and I decided to put together a show on diverse voices in tech, I knew Mike Street (my left, your right) had to be on the show. Back in 2010, when I went looking for blacks in tech, my search led me to Mike. Mike was the leader, connector and curator of all things black in tech. We connected a couple of times during his illness. I’m crushed to know he has passed. Without question, his legacy as an innovator, connector, curator, disrupter and overall beautiful human will live on.
