Lisgar's Social Media Club Hello Lisgarites. As you might've heard, this year Lisgar is having a Social Media Club.

The purpose of this club is to essentially create a platform for the entire school to discover what's going on around the Lisgar (i.e intramurals, club meetings, sports team meetings, student services, bake sales, dances, etc). We figured the best way to let out all these info would be to create a page*, a Twittter account, and various other social media tools to essentially "advertise" w

hat's going on around our school. Because social media is so prevalent in our lives today, we believe that this new platform should be utilized to its full potential. There is nothing more powerful than being able to reach hundreds or thousands of people via the click of a mouse. While we understand that we have the P.A system as well as the announcement boards, we believe that these methods are somewhat outdated. Everything and more will be posted here and on our twitter feed so come take a peak from time to time
