Greg Kihn has passed away at the age of 75 from Alzheimer's. His biggest two hits were The Breakup Song (They Don't Write Em Like That Anymore) And Jeopardy.

76 is not a lucky number. Another musician has passed at the age of 76. Dave Loggins who had a big hit with the song Please Come To Boston in 1974. Has passed away. He wrote many songs for other artist but only had one hit sung by himself.

Tomorrow is a big day for me. My countdown that I host is gonna start playing on Sunday afternoons at 12 noon on radio station WMXN 1017 The Torch. Now it has been running for years on my internet radio station The Fox. But tomorrow it is gonna be heard on a radio station in Alabama. It is for the date of June 3rd 1989. Tune in if you can and please share!

Anyone that knows me personally knows how big a fan of Casey Kasem I was. He is my radio hero. I have always been obsessed with countdowns. Every radio station I have ever worked at. I always did some sort of countdown. My dream was to have a countdown that is syndicated or played on several radio stations. I did have a Classic Country Countdown that got played on more than one station. But that wasn't really what I wanted to do. I wanted to do the pop charts, Not Country. Well starting this Sunday afternoon. Thanks to my friend Steve Malcomb and radio station WMXN 1017 The Torch in Alabama. My dream is becoming a reality. The Fox 50 Flashback Countdown is gonna be played on a radio station beside The Fox. Every Sunday afternoon at 12 noon. When I was younger I would make sure that 4 hours were blocked out on either Saturday or Sunday every weekend to hear Casey count them down. Hopefully somebody will feel that way about my countdown.
