We bond over food and Jesus 👨🏽👩🏻Michael looks like he’s about to murder that avocado toast 😂For you married folks, find what you both like to do and set time to bond every week! Michael and I had 1 hour of quality time together and it meant the world to us. Talk about Jesus and open up the Word together!

Busy seasons like now make me so appreciate fun restaurants around town and I am so thankful that we get to see a glimpse of what is to come in eternity as we read the book of Revelation today ❤️

I still remember 4 years ago Michael had asked me to be his valentine and basically only gave me one option given both options were a yes 😂

And now here we are, 4 years later and married with a beautiful daughter. Our marriage hasn’t been easy, but is anyone’s really that easy? Just as Jesus said our lives wouldn’t be easy, marriage too isn’t easy. But with Jesus, we become stronger as one with Christ.

I never want to forget the year God told me you are my husband, the man God made for me. Yes, we both have imperfections, but our imperfections still fit together because we’re made to be together ❤️

Our Christmas miracle ❤️It took us a while to publicly share our miscarriage back in 2020. God had put in Gaby’s heart that year that we would have a child soon, so we were expectant and excited.

The end of nov 2020 is when the miscarriage happened. It was one of the most devastating moments of our lives.

After the miscarriage, God gave Gaby a dream that she would have a baby girl and even gave me her name in the dream. We thought this would be for the far future.

2 weeks went by and while Gaby was spending time with Jesus, He told her, “Atara is in your womb.”

We were shocked and almost in disbelief. Ironically, Gaby was going to have a physical check up later that week so she went and asked them to do a pregnancy test and found out she was pregnant.

Christmas Eve we were able to announce to our family that we were expecting a baby.

Later in March 2021, we found out Atara was indeed a girl in our baby gender reveal.

We know not to keep records of wrongs, but it’s also important that we don’t keep records of the right things we do for our spouse and use it against them. Let us choose to love unconditionally just as Jesus loved us.

Jesus loved us even when we didn’t deserve His love, so let us show love to our spouses in every way we can. We create an atmosphere of competition instead of love when we start counting one another’s rights and wrongs.
