Furacu Records is a non-profit Brazilian independent music label with a preference for edgy and unconventional music. Our main goal is to propagate the work of independent Brazilian artists, publishing and promoting their free digital releases through this blog. Furacu was founded in 2003 as a one-artist label, releasing albums and singles by underground singer-songwriter Marli. Since then, Furacu
and Marli have stumbled across a great amount of talented fellow independent musicians, who have collaborated on her releases along the way. Now, we have finally decided to open up our label to a wider community, bringing on board all those talented people with us and promoting their work. So if you’re an artist, Brazilian or not, planning to release a single, an EP, an album or any other format of digital music release, don’t hesitate in sending us your material for evaluation.
