The Fringette is me, Lisa. I spin 60s & neo garage, psych, beat, rhythm & blues. That was it, she knew she found her scene and musical home.

Lisa Dannebaum aka The Fringette won’t disagree and if anything, she proves Ray, singer of The Kinks, right again and again by dropping the needle on catchy singles. It all started when a younger Lisa walked in Berlin’s legendary Bassy Club and witnessed what fuzzy electric guitars on vinyl can do to

you. In 2017 she and her friend Susan formed the all female DJ Duo »The Fringettes« and from then on she’s spinning records all around Berlin’s bars or clubs and elsewhere — now solo or in teams like with the fantastic Sonic Sisters. She loves her sets loud and powerful, playing a wild mix of 60s and Neo Garage, Psych, Beat, Blues, R&B and groovy 70s sounds.
