Well, of course we're gonna check in on the Amazon Games pet slack, if that's not what Instagram on a Friday is for then what are we all even doing here?

It was Howl-oween week (naturally) complete with a costume contest (also naturally) so let's highlight a few. Addy took home most original costume as the ever-iconic Guy Fur-eri, Rosie and Luciano did a speed-run for Cutest as Mario and Luigi, Rachelle and Martha May teamed up as Ratatouille and Chef Gusteau and frankly I'm adding Best Use of Owner as Costume Prop as a category right now, SpoOoooOOookiest (actual spelling) was Pennywise dressed up as...Pennywise (not kidding, always best to play to your strengths) and honestly Lola didn't even know it WAS Halloween, she just really digs the 1970's and has style for days.

Grats to the winners and all the terrific owners, enjoy the tasty prizes, and shoutout to Haley for her usual expert wrangling. Hope everyone had a good week and even better weekend. Play some games!

Yesterday at The Game Awards 2022, Amazon Games announced a new publishing agreement with Bandai Namco Online Inc. to bring Blue Protocol, a multiplayer online action role-playing game featuring beautiful, anime-inspired art, to the West.

Blue Protocol will be free-to-play, and will launch for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 in the second half of 2023. We’re excited for players to adventure in Regnas and look forward to sharing more as we approach Closed Beta on PC early next year!

From concept to reality! From the artist’s mind, to the shores of Aeternum!

This past summer, artist Naomi Cebula had the chance to bring video game elements to life while supporting New World’s Game Art team as a concept art intern.

“I had a fantastic experience! With guidance from my manager and mentor, I was able to implement my own ideas and learn how to apply my artistic skills to gaming.”

Next spring, Naomi comes back to Aeternum to join Amazon Games full-time: “I’m so excited to return to the New World Game Art team as a concept artist! My internship opened the door for me to be a part of this amazing team, and I can’t wait to get started.”
