Really pleased to welcome composer, Joseph Buckler to the thermal composer team.

Joseph Buckler is a composer and sound designer from the South-West, UK. He writes music and soundscapes that enhance storytelling for film, TV, games, theatre, exhibitions, and immersive experiences. 

Melding acoustic and electronic instruments, orchestral textures and voices with sound design, his music is genre-crossing, evocative, and cinematic; always subtly capturing the nuances of emotion and narrative, and having a lasting resonance with audiences.

Joseph is a multi-instrumentalist with a rich background in studio production and engineering, musical direction and conducting. He has a Commercial Music Performance Degree from the University of Westminster, London, and an MA in Composition from Bath Spa University.

‘Komorebi’ is a collection of gentle ambient piano pieces with subtle synths and sound design.

Very pleased to welcome composer & producer, Coline Machecourt to the thermal music composer team.

A Composer-Songwriter-Producer based in the Paris region in France, Coline Machecourt articulates her compositions in an intimate neo-classical atmosphere playing with contrast by including world folk influences. As a songwriter, she draws inspiration from varied repertoires such as alternative, pop folk, jazz, metal. Multi-instrumentalist and singer, she transcribes the movements and depth of life, in a complex, sensitive and visual world, where several dimensions coexist. 

Coline Machecourt studied the transverse flute and the violin at the conservatory as first violin in orchestra and chamber music. 
During her studies, she composed for music videos (including the prize for best short film music in France for students in 2008) and university credits. 

In 2023, after twenty years of passion for music and composition, as well as ten years as a senior manager in a multi-national company,  she gained certificates to complete synchronization licensing, mixing & mastering and vocal production courses and decided to merge her know-how and her passion in the service of music for movies, documentaries and video games.
