History:
Blue Room Released was an independent record label from London, UK. It was led by Simon Ghahary and had solid financial backing from Bowers & Wilkins, British loudspeaker company. Their first compilation titled “Outside The Reactor” was released in April 1995 and featured work from artists such as Total Eclipse, Spect

ral, and Voodoo People. The German project X-Dream started working with Blue Room as well, releasing their "The Frog" single and the album Radio. The label released such works as Violent Relaxation by Total Eclipse, Juno Reactor's Bible of Dreams, Saafi Brothers' Mystic Ci******es and Dragon Tales by Koxbox. Blue Room were associated with the development and marketing of the Blue Room Minipod speakers, a blue-coloured system originally sold by manufacturers Bowers & Wilkins (B&W), then taken over by Scandyna Corp. The Blue Room Fire Truck was a blue-painted emergency vehicle used as a promotional device, and attended the 1998 Burning Man Festival . Some of the high-demand releases were picked up by Inpsyde Media after the label's fall in 2002. In December 2004 the owner of the mother label MELT 2000 Robert Trunz bought back the rights to the Blue Room Released catalogue and now works out of Switzerland where the new company is based.
