Exhibiting their knowledge and competence in various science and mathematics competitions, Concepcion L. Cazeรฑas Memorial School (CLCMS) participated in the 2025 Division SciMathlympics last October 25-26 at Sibalom National High School and Sibalom Central Elementary School with the theme, "Harnessing the Unknown, Powering the Future through Science and Innovation."

From solving real-world problems to demonstrating experiments and models, every CLCMianS truly embodied curiosity, brilliance, and the spirit of learning beyond the classroom.

Serving as a stage for young innovators, learners were able to apply their knowledge, creativity, and analytical thinking as they took part in activities and competitions that challenged both their intellect and teamwork.

Furthermore, Lance Angelo E. Fresnillo will represent the Division of Antique at the upcoming 2025 Regional SciMathlympics, as he ranked 1st in the Science Investigatory Project (SIP)/Tuklas Mathematical and Computational Sciencesโ€“Individual Category.

As we raise our flags for global unity, Concepcion L. Cazeรฑas Memorial School (CLCMS) celebrated United Nations Day on October 21, 2025, at CLCMS Junior High School (JHS) Gymnasium.

Grade-level representatives showcased the diverse range of national cultures with traditional costumes from countries worldwide as students proudly waved the flags of the countries they represented.

The event highlighted the appreciation of the world's diverse cultures, religions, and languages and honored the establishment of the United Nations in 1945.

Furthermore, Jhadz Rajiv Mingo of Grade 12 Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM), representing the country of Egypt, and Samantha Nicole Tarang of Grade 9 Science Technology Engineering (STE), representing the country of Bolivia, were named Best in National Costume for Male and Female as the event came to an end.

For two consecutive years, Concepcion L. Cazeรฑas Memorial School managed to secure the third spot as Top Performing school in the 2025 Division SciMathlympics held on October 25-26 at Sibalom National High School (SNHS).

Within the two-day event, students attained several recognitions in various contests, whether in science or mathematics.

The annual Division SciMathlympics gathered thousands of young scientists, innovators, and mathematicians from across Antique, providing a platform for harnessing the unknown and powering the future through innovation.

Through a showcase of talents and skills toward science and mathematics, Concepcion L. Cazeรฑas Memorial School (CLCMS) conducted its School-Based SciMathLympics with the theme, "Harnessing the Unknown: Powering the Future through Science and Innovation," this October 24, 2025, at the CLCMS Junior High School (JHS) Gymnasium.

Different activities were featured, such as Science Investigatory Projects (SIPs) or Tuklas presentations, STEMtokperiment, Siyensikula, and Mathematician-Look-A-Like.

Moreover, students also participated in a series of competitions, including SciMath Quizbee, Tower of Hanoi, and 3x3 Rubik's Cube, as well as different science experiments where students enjoyed, learned, and engaged.

This event served as preparation for the upcoming Division SciMathLympics and was a key part of the school's curriculum to help students apply their classroom knowledge in a practical setting, promoting academic learning and teamwork among different grade levels.

Mrs. Irish Cheene L. Calanoy ranked ninth for News Writing Filipino (Secondary Level) during the InkSights Unscripted: The Regional Training of School Paper Advisers (SPA) and Coaches held on October 17-19, 2025, at Iloilo Grand Hotel, Iloilo City.

Mrs. Calanoy served as one of the Filipino advisers of Ablaze and was joined by Mrs. Arlin S. Casupanan, Mrs. Annie Marie O. Nacionales, and Ms. Mycah C. Abiera in the said event.

Moreover, this yearโ€™s regional training of SPA and coaches was joined by different schools in Region VI, already excluding Negros Region.
