Had a blast shooting at the fair to create this moody monologue (English translation below).

English Translation:

So I’ve returned, to the place where it all began.
This place…the sounds…the laughter…the lights..

I close my eyes, and there he stands,
A smile that brightened distant lands,
The carousel of time spins ‘round,
We meet again, love’s lost and found,

The carousel, once a symbol of joy we shared, now turns without him by my side.

Within these stalls, sweet laughter once did chime,
The echoes now ring hollow, lost in time.

Yet, I find comfort in the happiness we once had, and with each cherished memory, a smile graces my lips, knowing that love, even in loss, makes me stronger.

Steve Nunez

Background

Ever since my father purchased a home camcorder, the large ones you had to sit on your shoulder from the 90’s, and let me use it to capture home video I fell in love with recording life moments from the mundane to the dramatic. Whether that is through video, photography or graphic design my passion has always been to harness different experiences to create, design, and shape the world around me. Now that a new decade is upon us, I feel it proper to embrace a new look to set the stage for new and exciting projects. My new brand contains several key elements that I want to bring your attention to:

Strength

My family is from Mexico. As far back as I can remember we, dating back to the Aztecs, have been people of the earth as farmers and laborers. We have always toiled, struggled, and persevered through tough times. I believe strongly that while the educated may manage institutions it is the people of the earth who build it - and as such earn it. The laborer stands for the blood, sweat, and tears we have shed to provide, praise, and protect those values we have brought to reality.
