On Earthspeak Radio we'll be speaking for mother nature, telling stories from the earth, sea, and the sky up above. But most importantly, we work to find interesting stories around and nearby the Madison area so that we can shine a spotlight on our local talent. Every week, our show will revolve around a topic and we will find news, stories, and guests to talk about the topic through and analytica

l (and also comical) lens. Our goal is to tell a story. Sometimes that story is entertaining, tender, shocking, insightful, or heartbreaking, but we do our best to let the public know what is happening to our planet.

What we do

We are Earthspeak Radio – a student-run radio program in Madison, WI – and we are committed to bringing our listeners a fresh, local perspective on environmental issues. On our show, we question the current human-planetary relationship by discussing environmental news, books and art, and interviewing students, community leaders, professors, and environmental experts. We try and be a voice for the Earth, which is so often disregarded in our current social and political climate; we also focus on how environmental issues intersect with our own lives and how we can be more conscious inhabitants of this planet we are lucky enough to call home.
