Musk is an inspiring character for comic books.
The new Arch Hierophant (in charge of science) in a forthcoming Requiem Vampire Knight story has much in common with Elon Musk.
Musk compared the biological adaptations that could be required for humans or other organisms to live on Mars to the process of breeding cows to conform to our needs as a society.
The Arch Hierophant has similar plans for living on Venus. It will involve women being used for breeding like cattle. Like Musk today, who has numerous children, the Arch Hierophant will impregnate endless women himself.

One of the great things about working with a top artist such as Olivier Ledroit and having the space of a long series, is that I get to create lots of fun supporting characters. Olivier does such a fantastic job with them all.
Such as Inspector Kurse, who is afflicted with bad luck – to the extent that he is regularly struck by lightning.

Broz: Death to the Empire! Freedom to the Five Kingdoms!
Broz is the story of a half-human, half-Elf freedom fighter leading the peoples of the five Kingdoms.

BROZ was planned as a long-running fantasy saga I wrote for France, illustrated by Adrian Smith and created by us both. Written in April 2004, two volumes were published in 2004, 2005 and a third volume was completed in 2006. Work had just begun on a fourth volume when the series was cancelled.

I’d begun working for France with Shadowslayer, illustrated by Eric Larnoy. It was drawing on the amazing character of Charles Fort, whom I always regarded as at least as fascinating as the phenomena he recorded in his Book of the Damned and other works. This led to an introduction to Olivier, who I met in Montpellier. I was blown away by his work, which included Les Chroniques de la Lune noire and Xoco, the latter inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft. It’s beautiful art and well worth a look online.
I then invited Olivier and his girlfriend to visit my place in Colchester. He was keen for us to do a story together, so I wrote up a new story of Witch, featuring Scatha, who travels in time to New York to avenge the death of Lara.

I remember the publisher, Mourad, did a double-take as Olivier showed him daring double page spreads of the night sky.
