Wow!! One year to the day from our first shoot for Sensei we learned we’d been honoured with this award from the Western Canadian Independent Film Festival. Huge thank you to the festival judges and congratulations to all involved ❤️❤️❤️

If there was ever a good reason to be up at 4am, attending the Together 2021! Disability Film Festival is it. Some amazing and innovative filmmakers who are accomplishing incredible things.

Meet Senpai Conrad Graup! Conrad is training hard for his first black belt grading later this month, following in the footsteps of one of his karate heroes, Sensei Natalie. “Senpai” means “higher rank” and is the title for a karate student who has reached a senior rank but is not yet a sensei. Conrad and Natalie are both part of the Karate Alberta team, representing Alberta at tournaments and having a lot of fun too 😊🥋👊
