Once upon a time, when America was legally segregated by government supported racism, there emerged printed publications to inform the people. Those publications provided information concerning the plight of former slaves and their descendants in America. Though the publishers were limited in their distribution, they found a way to overcome obstacles placed in their way and earned the respect of both Blacks, and White abolitionist.

Today, obstacles are once again being placed by opponents to obstruct the distribution of information targeting the descendants of former slaves, and the general populations of America. The Trump administration’s new tariff policy has dealt a heavy blow to the printing industry, whose advertising revenues suffer from lack of participation by major advertisers.

Well glory be, along came the Web and with it an innovative mindset of using the internet as a means of communicating. Black Skyline is but one of those innovative publications, presenting articles of interest on a local and national level, we inform our world community about the state of affairs pertinent to us. Also, the populations of America, no matter their ethnicity or where they are located, so long as they have internet access.
