Berlin based Taiwanese DJ/ Producer/ Label owner DJ/Music producer/label owner BB Deng was born in Hong Kong and raised in Taiwan.

She began her musical journey by playing in rock/electro punk bands and working as a resident DJ in clubs in Taipei. Later on she moved to Beijing to study film and has by years developed to one of China's most active electronic music artists. In Beijing, she opened her club "The Boat" and has organised countless music/art events/ festivals in China for a decade. She is also a promoter/booker betw

een East and West. Since 2015, she started touring festivals and clubs worldwide, from Taiwan, Hong Kong , mainland China, Mongolia to Germany and the Netherlands, Switzerland, France, Croatia, Austria, Finland, Poland and Spain to name a few. Same year, BB Deng signed with the British electronic music equipment brand Novation as its first Taiwanese ambassador in China and began releasing her work on global labels in the coming year. BB Deng has called Berlin home since 2018 and remains active in the scene with the birth of her new event/label Ego Riot in 2022.

自從疫情加上後來貓貓生病了三年，我一直待在德國沒怎麼飛，現在寶貝已經在天堂快樂地奔跑了，我會開始旅行得的比較多，後面三週六個城市的中國巡演以下，如果在的朋友有空來打個招呼喔！-

I haven't toured much since Covid and my cat was sick for 3 years right after, now that my baby boy has been running free in heaven for 2+ months 🌈, I'm ready to put myself together & start sharing music in different places again, the 1st tour this year will be in 6 cities in China, so I'd love to see you if you happen to be in any of those cities! Have you listened to my eastern touched remix for Funk D'Void yet? It was an honour to be invited to this project🙏.

The track is called "Phoenix" & this time I tried with some Asian elements such as a Chinese instrument named "erhu二胡" + some mandarin lyrics to combine with lots of percussions since phoenix is the queen of all birds in Asia & I'm Asian :)

DJ, producer and Ego Riot .riot label founder and owner BB Deng was born in Hong Kong and raised in Taiwan. She began her musical journey by playing in rock/electro punk bands and working as a resident DJ in clubs in Taipei. Later on she moved to Beijing and has, by years, developed to one of China's most active electronic music artists. Since 2015, she started playing festivals and clubs worldwide, the same year she signed with the British electronic music equipment brand Novation as its first Taiwanese ambassador in China and began releasing original tracks and remixes on labels such as Sound Of Berlin where she released her first single "Bell Trip" (2021) or Industrial Girls as the output for "Broken Ego" (2021) and "Want Your Fame?" (2023) included in the first release of her label Ego Riot.

We all can't wait for the last Friday of the year for an event full of quality music which will lead to a dutiful expansion of consciousness. Without fear of proposing different soundscapes, from synthwave to the meanest hard industrial techno, passing through electropunk and EBM techno nuances for a 12 hours synergistic crystallization of protons and electrons.

How plastic and artificial life has become. It gets harder and harder to find something… real 🏴‍☠️

Can't be more than happy to share with you I'll play my debut gig at Tresor Berlin next Wednesday 11/29, it was always my dream to dj there since I was living in Asia, especially it will be for one of my very favorite label Dame-Music, I have to thank the label owner / DJ Bloody Mary for trusting & booking me. Berlin based DJ / Music producer BB Deng was born in Hong Kong and grew up in Taiwan, she lived in Beijing for many years before moving to Berlin and has earned the prestigious reputation of being one of the top Techno artist in China, her music career started from playing in rock bands as the keyboard player/singer/Electronic beat-maker.

In 2008, BB Deng has opened her own club/live music venue "The Boat" in Beijing and has organized countless of music/art events and festivals.

BB Deng was being the resident DJ at China best Techno club Lantern, continuing in 2015 she was signed with the biggest Chinese music label/booking agency ModernSky. After years of DJ experiences, she has toured around the world to play at music festivals, ADE, Zug Der Liebe and underground clubs from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mongolia to Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, France, Croatia, Austria, Finland, Poland and Spain, which made her one of the most successful Chinese/Taiwanese artist abroad and the first Chinese DJ who was interviewed by BBC.
