I'm sad to have just learned about the passing of Erik Kristopher Myers in 2021. I interviewed Erik in 2019 for the last episode of The Ghost in My Room on Legends and Folklore. Erik was a talented filmmaker and writer who created a much celebrated urban legend. My condolences to those who knew him.

The Ghost In My Room podcast

I’ve always loved scary stories, movies and books. I starting reading Stephen King at 9, told ghost stories at every party, and loved the 1980’s scary film genre. I’m not sure why, but I do know the fascination started in the mid-1970s when I thought I saw a ghost in my room.

In this podcast I will explore why we love folklore, legends and ghost stories, and hunt for audio proof of their existence with the team at Dead of Night Paranormal Investigation.

I’ll be sharing my experience with you along the way with photos and snippets of audio we collect. And maybe, I’ll finally figure out if what I saw really was a ghost in my room.

To be released October 2019. Stay tuned.
