I was delighted to be invited to host a workshop at Intel’s Retail Executive Connection 2024. Unlocking the potential of #AI was the focus of this year’s conference in Da Nang, Vietnam and my workshop focused on how I have incorporated AI into my workflow. AI-enabled platforms, such as Co-Pilot and Adobe Premiere Pro, powered by the #IntelCoreUltra processor allow me to work and edit video content on the fly with speed and precision so I can work smarter and faster than ever before. Thank you for having me @intelanz! #Intel #AIEverywhere #AIPC
Julia Gillard, 27th Prime Minister of Australia, gives a powerful talk at the GLOBAL CITIZEN NOW: MELBOURNE SUMMIT
Here's what she said about why science is so pivotal to us.
“Science is absolutely pivotal to our region, because as you know only too well, some of the countries that are most at risk in fact, not just at risk, but are already seeing the effects of climate change in dramatic ways are in our region of the world, particularly the Pacific Islands, but also throughout Asia. So, this intersection of climate and health is going to be a big driver of scientific inquiry and discovery in the future. And Australia, I'm sure will be playing a disproportionate role in it, given where we are in the world and the nature of expertise.”
“We do need to make sure that the generation that's coming up and shaping the future is a generation where everyone sees that gender equality will make for a better world for everyone. This isn't just a project for women it's a project for all of us.

Victory by the Matilda’s tonight brought jubilation to our nation but it was more than an exilerating game with a nail biting 20 goal shoot out against France.
The team spirit that pulled the Matilda’s through to the semi finals will go on to galvanise young girls to excel in sport and beyond.
The domino effects are profound. To have young girls see a pathway to being a Matilda is a game changer for women’s sport in Australia.
The success of the FIFA Women's World Cup proves women are worth investing in.
Women approach footy in a different way. We see women supporting women during the game, even if they are on competing teams. We see women on the pitch with their babies. We see more families attend the events. We see record TV ratings.
Lucy Broadbent recently wrote a story for me on Women Love Tech about how the World Cup is empowering women worldwide. She also said ‘Girl players are more interesting and the world is just catching onto it.’
Check out the outpouring of emotion on the Ch7 recording after the Matilda’s best France. And this isn’t even the finals!
