Out now on all digital music platforms: my new collaborational ep 'Natural Cosmos' that Luis Baltes and me created just the weekend before Europe went into lockdown into 2020. Eventhough we met up to see Na**lm Death and Rotten Sound to grind the s*** out of Hamburg, we decided to stay in our little echo chamber. That was just an incredible studio session in which we were fully in tune with each other to create these two beautiful odes of dubby music. And yes, Natural is a little hymn.
Luis, I am so happy that these tunes are finally released. After your beat box participation in a recording of my former band, the vocal feature on my debutt album Control and our roots dub rich creation of the 'Temptation' ep on Freund der Familie with Mathimidori remix are just the publicly known tunes we layed down together. I hope and wish that this reign of joint inspiration will continue for sure. 💚

Finally our ep is out and we are more than happy to present you four original dub loaded original tunes and a great remix by the one and only Mike Schommer.

I am excited about my upcoming release that will be released on Friday, this week. The Cloudwalker ep is the continuation of the collaboration between Upwellings and me. I am humble to say that the journey we took so far has touched me deeply on several levels as it allowed new understandings, perspectives and creative processes I experienced finally in this collaboration in the truest sense.
We created a bunch of original tunes and selected four of them to be part of this ep. Expect dub vibes from all sorts and kinds. On top, we are very happy that Mike Schommer took on the remix controls. Mike’ remix truly adds to the entire release but, making long stories short: Listen to it by yourself.
The ep will be released on colored vinyl and digital formats from this coming Friday, April, 1st. The vinyl presale is already going on on all vinyl outlets that you may think of.

Bilateral Kite is the first collaborational ep of French multiinstrumentalist and sound creator Upwellings and label owner Van Bonn. It was a couple of years ago on a misty November day when both producers met in person for the first time. Right from the beginning a strong bond was set due to the love both share for dub and experimental vibes that call for the universal language of the world: music that comes from the heart.
