BREAKING: Columbia police have identified an infant whose remains were found outside of a north Columbia tire store in 2019. Police say the child's name was Samone J. Daniels, who was between four and five months old at the time of her death. A man from St. Joseph and a woman from St. Louis were charged in her death. According to ABC 17 News, police say they believe she was killed at the Red Roof Inn in Columbia about two years prior to being found.

Columbia police have identified a baby found dead outside a tire store in 2019 and arrested the child's parents in connection with her death.

A use tax on purchases from out-of-state vendors (mostly online) could help the City of Columbia improve its emergency services. If voters approve Prop 1 on Tuesday, April 5, the revenue generated could be used to hire and maintain the salaries of seven new firefighters.
