We hope your first week of classes has gone well!
Our Week Two meeting is centered around portfolio website creation, and internships as it is internship season! It’s never a bad idea to start thinking about internships. The UFO hopes you had a memorable winter holiday celebration! ❄️

It’s time for some exciting news regarding our winter productions this upcoming term! Cast and crew auditions will soon go live tomorrow, December 27th, with the deadline to apply being Sunday January 8th at midnight. We give a warm welcome to our Casting Director for this term’s productions, Elizabeth Thompson! She will be available throughout the process for questions - her contact info can be found on the third slide.

Auditions for acting and crew positions will begin with an online application that will be sourced in our Linktree tomorrow December 27th. Entry video submissions only apply to those interested in fulfilling acting roles and should be sent to casting. Upon review of video submissions, actors being considered for a role will be invited to an in-person audition session (dates TBA). For crew positions, simply fill out the application form and attach resumes and portfolio examples.

For anyone, cast or crew who would like to find a way to get involved with both films, you are more than welcome to fulfill roles in both. Please note this audition process (for acting roles) requires two script readings total with a preferred character for each respective film.
Crew and actors: You will need to fill out an availability form! Please plan ahead and note your most realistic availabilities for this upcoming winter term. Remember that there will also be opportunities for spring term should winter not be the best option for you.

Please message casting for any additional questions and clarification throughout your audition process, and be on the lookout for a story post when applications go live tomorrow! Good luck!
