In a music team, not everyone thinks the same.
Not everyone feels the same.
Not everyone expresses themselves the same way.
And that is exactly what makes it magical.
Differences —in personality, tastes, cultures, and creative processes— are not a threat. They’re an opportunity. A door to expand your vision, to see from new angles, to grow.
In music, just like in life, there are moments when a beautiful energy begins to take shape. A sound, an idea, a shared emotion. And that’s where many get stuck: trying to be right, fearing to let go, unable to truly listen or face new challenges due to “fear of failure” —fear of feeling like they’re “jumping into the void,” fear of trying again.
But being in a team should make you feel held.
If it doesn’t, something’s not right behind the scenes.
Music doesn’t come from control. It comes from surrender.
A great team isn’t one where everyone thinks the same.
It’s one where there’s enough respect to grow together.
It’s a team that doesn’t silence those who think differently —it includes them, values them, and seeks true authenticity:
